when and for how long?

Our Goal is to be getting on a plane for Africa with the whole family by October 2012.  We look to serve with AIM in Africa for the foreseeable future.  Typically AIM missionaries serve a 3-4 year term before coming home on Home Assignment in the states for up to a year, before returning back for another term.

Our desire is to not only to train pastors, but to one day train the trainers, mainly by helping see the formation of a thriving accredited college that provides health to the church for generations.  Right now only a blessed few have the oppertunity to study outside of Rwanda.  To begin teaching we expect to have the first couple years devoted to language and culture study that we might be able to understand the context and effectively communicate.  We hope to raise our children in Rwanda and serve for as long as God needs us there and then move on when the task is accomplished.
